Rise Against Hunger
Join us at the Region III Lenten Event on Saturday, March 25, 2017 in St. Peter’s Parish Hall. 8:00 am set-up, and we will begin packaging meals at 9:00 a.m. Together with other Arlington Episcopal churches we will package 10,000 meals to help end hunger in our world.
If you have enjoyed AFAC food packaging activities in your parish, you will like this! Rise Against Hunger (formerly Stop Hunger Now) works to end hunger by providing food and life-changing aid to the world’s most vulnerable and creating a global commitment to mobilize the necessary resources. 792.5 million people across the world (more than twice the USA population) don’t receive enough nutrition to lead an active, healthy life.
Please sign up on online so we know about how many people to expect. Thank you!
St. Peter’s will hold a Holy Eucharist, Rite II Service at
10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 24.
The parish office will be closed on November 24 and November 25.
Have a safe and blessed holiday!

Our annual parish picnic will be a celebration thanking Rev. Ann for her ten years serving the St. Peter’s community and sharing with us her many gifts and talents! Everyone is invited to come and farewell Rev. Ann and send her off with your well-wishes.
Chicken, drinks, and ice cream will be provided. We ask that everyone please bring a side dish, salad or dessert to share.
The celebration will kickoff immediately following the 11:00 a.m. service on June 5!
