Sunday mornings are a busy time at St. Peter's. Holy Eucharist is held at 8:00, and 10:00 A.M. during July and August, with Christian Education classes at 9:00 A.M. There is a staffed nursery available for infants. Music, including Junior and Senior Choirs, is an important part of our worship. Our organist and director are outstanding musicians and work to integrate the music with our liturgical worship. Sunday morning also includes members of the Parish as greeters to welcome all who come to worship, ushers, Altar Guild workers, acolytes and teachers as well as the choirs.

The other days of the week also bring many members of our parish together to practice their faith in different ways. St. Peter's has four Commissions — Christian Education, Fellowship, Outreach & Mission, Worship — which meet monthly to help plan and implement opportunities to put words and faith into action. We also have various Committees, some of which are concerned with stewardship, building & grounds, hospitality and other facets of Parish life.

There are traditional and annual events that also give character to our life as a Parish family. In November, we have our annual Bazaar which includes crafts and foods prepared by members and many other articles. The sale helps us to work together to raise funds to help others. We have an annual Parish Retreat, a weekend to live together without the demands and pressures of the Washington area. We celebrate Holy Week with the traditional liturgies as well as a Seder Meal on Thursday.

The St. Peter's experience encompasses virtually every aspect of Christian living. Join us for some of the activities listed at the left of this page and see for yourself.
