FROM THE RECTOR
A Life Shaped by Grace
The Rev. Jenifer Gamber, Rector
Saint Peter's has always been a community of imperfect people — that's been true since 1961 when our founders named us after a disciple who denied Jesus three times. We still claim that name proudly. If you're looking for a place that takes faith seriously without pretending to have it all figured out and where you can make mistakes and still be part of the family, I'd love to meet you on a Sunday. — The Rev. Jenifer Gamber, Rector
A Place to Breathe
Nestled in five acres of woods, Saint Peter's is a place where children explore, families linger, and faith takes root close to the earth. Here, you can wander the paths and breathe a little deeper.
We're learning, together, what it means to be faithful stewards of this particular patch of creation. Our Creation Care Team is planting native trees and wildflowers, building rain gardens to return water gently to the earth, and installing solar to reduce our footprint. There is always more to do — and always room for one more set of hands.

Want a church that serves the community?
We prepare meals, deliver food, give to food pantries, and repair houses — showing up week after week at local partners. Together, we give more than $100,000 to our neighbors every year.
If you want a church where faith shows up in the world, you'll feel at home here.

Bringing children?
Kids are fully part of life here — not just tolerated, but genuinely welcomed. Sunday School runs September through June, nursery care is available, and children are always welcome in worship. Many families tell us it's the first place their kids actually wanted to come back to.

In your later decades?
Whether you're newly retired or have been around long enough to remember when this building was new, there's a place for you here — not in a corner, but at the center. Older adults teach, lead, and carry the memory of this community alongside grandchildren and young families.

Walking through something difficult?
Whether you're grieving, searching, or just need a quiet place to breathe, our pastoral care team is here. You don't have to be a member to reach out. Grief, doubt, and hard seasons are part of life here too, not things to hide at the door.
