Building a Better Community
On October 6th through October 8th, eleven youth and three adults went on a mission trip to help feed people facing food insecurity in Virginia. They partnered with Harvest of Hope to learn about food waste and gleaned more than 2,000 lbs of apples from orchards. These apples were then transported to food pantries to be distributed to the hungry.
We are grateful for the commitment of these young people to make a difference in this world and build a better community. Thank you!
