Grace upon grace

“From his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.” John 1:16

Grace and peace to you this New Year’s Eve weekend. I pray that the busyness of these past few weeks has given way to moments of contemplation. Remember, we are still in the Christmas season. Take time each day to open your heart to receive the Christ child again and again.

Tomorrow is New Year’s eve, often a time to take stock and make resolutions for the coming year. Rest assured that no matter what has been done or left undone in 2023 and no matter what 2024 brings, you are surrounded by God’s overflowing and never-ending grace.

Rest in that grace. Give yourself permission to receive God’s grace and share it freely with those around you.
